I take my grief to Allah alone
He said, ‘I complain of my anguish and my grief only to Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know. My sons, go and search for Yusuf and his brother, and do not despair of Allah’s mercy. No one despairs of Allah’s mercy except those who deny the truth.’

Forgiveness from the One and Self-Sufficient
O Allah, I ask You, the One, the Unique, the Self-Sufficient, who does not beget and was not begotten and has no equal, to forgive my sins. You are the Forgiving, the Giver of mercy.

Al-Fatiha, the Opening
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Giver of mercy. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds, the Most Merciful, the Giver of mercy, Master of the Day of Judgement. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the straight path: the path of those You have blessed, not of those who have incurred anger, nor of those who have gone astray.
